Carlisle's own Hardwicke Circus are set for a big return to the Old Fire Station this May.

Renowned as one of the UK’s most electrifying live acts, their high-energy performance blends the passion of classic Doors, but with plenty of British authenticity in their high-voltage attack. The Hardwickes' deadly determination has taken them to Glastonbury, South Africa, and His Majesty's Prisons, but true to their roots, they land again in the Border City they love and know best. This night will be more than just a concert – but a celebration of homegrown talent, a group of local lads writing songs and playing music they believe in. Be there or be square.

• The venue and bar will be open from 6.45pm
• *Proof of age may be requested. The acceptable forms of ID are: Valid passport, a photo driving licence or a proof of age card such as the PASS card from the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme. No refunds will be issued for anyone under the age restriction stated above.

16 and 17 year olds may attend but must leave the venue once the show has ended.
